Photo Genre

This first photo is an example of food photography. I know its an example of food photography because of the pancakes in the photo. When looking at the photo it makes me feel content and satisfied. This photo makes me feel content and satisfied because the pancakes are enticing and delicious. I have not taken photos similar to the food photography genre.

The second photo is an example if the candid genre.I know because the woman is thinking very deep thoughts and may not relize that the picture is being taken. What does it portray? What type of emotions does it convey? Why? How so? Have you taken photos similar to this genre?
